If you are hoping to be successful online, one of the tasks that you must attend to is to show up within the first page of any search result, and you could do this by using particular keywords.
So why should you aim for your site or article to appear on the first page of any search result? Well, if your article or website appears between number 1 and number 10 on the very first page of any search result, you have a very high propensity that your link will be clicked. However, if your article or website appears on the second, third or any other pages, it is very unlikely that your link will be clicked as often as it needs to be in order to succeed online.
Learning and developing the techniques of achieving the top 10 position of any search engine is not very difficult to learn. There are three main search engine providers online today, and these are Google, MSN and Yahoo! They each have their specific methods of evaluating and positioning each site. But in general, if your website consistently changes its content and if your website contains content relevant to your chosen keyword, then it is more than likely that your site will be pushed up the search engine ranking ladder.
Another technique used by search engines is to identify websites that have several or many inbound links from other websites with good reputations. So if your site has 50 other websites linking to it, then it would be more popular than another site with only 20 linking to it. And if those 50 inbound links were positioned on websites that have an equal number or even more links, then that would reflect well in the position your article or your website would hold online.
If you are after high search engine rankings, there is no need to pay through the nose for it. Some of the techniques and tactics highlighted above can push your website to the top 10 search engine position within a period of three to four weeks. It is just a question of learning what to do and being consistent in your strategy to get there.
